International Climate Accountability Act (2021)
The International Climate Accountability Act (2021) is a policy bill that seeks to hold countries accountable for their pledges under the Paris Agreement, including through enhanced oversight, reporting, and transparency measures. United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) - 1992
The UNFCCC is the leading international agreement to address climate change. They adopted it in 1992 and calls for developed countries to take responsibility for their emissions. It also encourages transparency by requiring that all Parties submit annual inventories of their greenhouse gas emissions and regularly report on mitigation activities.

Paris Agreement: Adopted (2015)
It is an international agreement on climate change that calls for a global response to reduce emissions and "hold the increase in global average temperatures to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursue efforts to limit it further".
