Climate change finance is an essential tool to help address the impacts of global warming and to build a more resilient future. The annual funds of 100 billion dollars will support mitigation and adaptation measures, such as investing in renewable energy sources or building infrastructure to deal with extreme weather events like floods and droughts. However, it is also important to consider the risks associated with these initiatives - especially when it comes to corruption.

To prevent this, it is crucial to ensure that those responsible for managing climate finance have strong anti-corruption protocols in place which should include strong oversight mechanisms and accountability structures.
